No Cats for the AliKat

So in case you didn't no Alison's nick name is AliKat with a nick name like this you would think she would have a serious affinity to cats. OH the contrary LOL. This girl has a HATRED/Fear of cats that makes me laugh to the point of tears (I am a mean mommy)
We first found out her fear and hatred for cats when the AWESOME Ulmer clan came to town and we went to a southern crab shack. I say southern because the restaurant is motted by alligator pits with "gator" feeding stations and all.Well we are seated and enjoying the yummy food when a cute yellow Tabbie cat comes strolling up and under Alis seat I say "alison look a Kitty cat" she looks down and sees a tail twitching right next to her and losses her mind I pull her out of her high chair to see the cat and this only furthers her crying with big crocodile tears, I care her out side to calm her down thinking it was just cause it surprised her. Mind you calming my child that is afraid of cats by looking at the alligators so once calmed down by alligator's. I carie her in to the restaurant. Oh man to funny she would not keep her head still she was looking over her shoulder like it was a ninja kitty and going to attack her at any moment LOL she saw it again and it was done for the night we had to leave. Now flash forward to my hilarity of today. We are climbing the stairs to our apartments tonight and we are on the second floor I see the cat right by our landing not thinking to much of it we make it 3 steps from the cat when it decides to move and alison losses her mind she flipped out you would have though I threw her down the stairs there was no calming her down till She locked the door and then she kept looking out the sliding door to make sure no evil kitty would be getting in. I had the hardest time not laughing out loud while trying to calm my inconsolably AliKat.
Me thinks we will never be owning a cat and AliKats nickname will be changed once she is able to LOL

The cats out of the bag

Okay so lets let this cat of the bag......Now that Jimbo and Gail Face have given there MAJOR stamp of approval on Tuesday I can say with great pride and joy.........I have meet my prince charming!!!! Yes its true My best Friend is my Boy Friend!!!!!
So let me share a bit about this amazing man. Besides being there for me through the life changing hard times. He has been my shooting buddy,My partner in crime, My fellow goof ball, my shoulder to cry on, my lil mans tutor, lil girls living jungle gym and such a great example in there life. Gosh I could gush on and on and on about him. but truly and honestly he has helped me be strong enough to not just find and be my true self again he has encouraged and makes me want to be the better version of my self. Okay now about him.
Nick that's his name. Is from Louisville KY. From an amazing and very loving supportive family of two younger brothers. His parents are great and super excepting they love the kids and me YEA its SO great. Mama Ulmer is a riot and daddy Ulmer is the always watching quiet dad. Nick is a NCO (non commissioned officer) in the US ARMY he is Intel in the army but he is painfully humble about his accomplishments and his MOS (job). and Bonus he is a super hottie. Could a girl get much better a Smart, Sexy , caring man I know I know Jackpot.
We meet threw one of his old roommates actually....His roommate had the hots for me so I was invited over to the Man Cave for a party. Walked in and Nick says he knew then, well he and I stared talking ....and from then we haven't stopped talking he has been my best friend and when my life became how you say less complicated he became my boyfriend.

For the first time in my life that i can recall my parents truly approve of who I am with and speak highly of him. Man I really have grown up. I have learned from my past and am looking forward to a brighter Hopefully less rocky future. Just wanted to finally blog about my man now that my Parents have given the stamp of approval!

4th Of July Trip to Louisville, KY

Yeah sooo The babies, Nick, and I went to Louisville for the fourth of july weekend and we had such a blast here are some of our amazzing adventures.

We went to our first drive in movie...yeah they still have drive in movies it was such a blast we took Susan's Jeep put the back seats down and made a nest in the back with pillows and blankets opend the back window and watched the disney movie UP it was such a cute movie and such a great time with the babies


Now while in the interesting state of Kentucky we played on slipin side pools and tay seriously couldn't get enough of being Big Nicks lil helper his favorite was helping play in big Nicks "cool car" as Tay called it

And alison was not to be forgotten with her sweet dance moves out side dancen up a storm with suesue

The Next great Adventure was a trip to the louisville ZOO it was the kids first time to the Zoo Tay loved it and cracked me up his favorite things seemed to be things we could see often like turtels okay it was a cool aligater turtel the duckes ect ect and something to make Big PAPA Tay didnt like the monkeys even the gorila he was more excited about her birthday present then about her (it was the gorilas birthday that day) But he did love riding the elephant.....statue hehee. ALison had the best time people watching the only animal she really got stoked on was the cheata my lil wild aliKat







The next grand adveture was the 4th of July...oh my word you couldnt have seen a happier boy then taylor running around that fireworks tent momm look mom look Ahhh cool mom cool. Well the day of the 4th it rained but that wasnt going to stop us no lightning no faul we grilled and we got that 3D side walk chalk ahhh man if you havent tryed it you should its soooo dang cool not only did the kids love it the adults all had a blast with it. That and some good tunes so you have dancing with puddel jumping thats a recipet for good times no matter what your age. Once it got darker we set of TONES of fire works...my funny boy was affriad of the sparklers and was not going to have any part in that but once the roman candels where going off he couldnt get enough of that....soooo as hard as it was for this mama to watch the boys helped taylor light and shake his first 2nd and 3rd roman candel taylor was in hog heaven. Theres tay and Ali drawing in the rain there is Tay and Ben drawing and there is Alison dancing in the biggest puddel she could find....I couldnt keep her out of it soo we just had fun jumping all the water out of the puddel hehehe




It was a Great big long trip but we all had a blast and man wear we beat when we made it home. Once home I gave my self a peddicure and alison just couldnt stand not being all painted to so my mad artistic skills managed to paint her toes and fingures LOL yeah I didnt say the nails that girl was still for a few fingers and a few toes then I had to distract her from touching anything including her own toes and fingers LOL but we had fun think I will try it again this weekend

3rd floor comedy

OH funny funny true story I get a call the other day gose like this:
me: Hello
dude: hi jessica

me: uhhh yes??? who is this??
dude: hi sorry this is dude i am from ups I have a package for you are you home?

me: uhm no I will be in 30 min.
dude: Oh okay then I will just take it directly to the managment office. So I will just take it there mamm so I am not going to leave a not up on your door its there okay.

me: LOL uhh okay thanks Bye

Dude you know its bad when the ups guy wont even attempt your stairs not even for a piece of paper on the door unless he knows your there.... LOL man im still cracking up about this to funny

3rd floor comedy

So there I was......

So There I was Literally 15 minutes ago on my kitchen floor in a puddle of my own well "astronaut water". Okay so in case you didn't know I have had strep since Monday night but have been going to work everyday anyways. Thursday I worked an 11 hour shift it was getting bad like walking and everything would go black...even i got it okay no more work so I called out yesterday. stayed in bed most of the day it was Michael's night to have the kids and its his day with them so me being a genius figures okay feeling better then Thursday, no kids (mommies you know where I am going on this one) I got the kids room cleaned up 2 loads of laundry going. Perfection lets hit the Piggly Wiggly (no that's not a joke its a real store out here in the south lol so country LOVE IT) pull up to my apartment sitting in the car okay I recognize I may have over done it I look at the 3 flights of stairs I am about to have to climb with these grocery's in this Oppressive humidity and heat so I load my self up like a pack mule (shoot I am only doing this trip once) VICTORY I MADE IT. to the door drop one arm of grocery's find my keys get the door open get all grocery's in until I bend over to get the soy milk out of a bag on the floor....... AND THEN...

THERE I WAS

and now here I am I bed after putting the grocery's away and mopping the floor blogging about my moment. a few thoughts came to mind:
1. This Georgia Strep is some roided out Gangster Strep
2. I was sooo glad I was alone when I passed out because its funny to tell the story it is a whole nother thing to have come to with someone around and me in Pee Pee Pants. plus how scary would that be for the babies
3. Kinda freaked out not giong to lie bit scared

So now I camp out on my bed with my bowl-o-Chinese food and Gatorade with my laptop and stand up comedy on the TV
